Cover has some mild staining, scratching, scuffing, and shelf wear. Pages are clean and tight! ; history of Utah Lake in Utah County. I don't think anyone older than 50 who grew up on Utah County did so without a Utah Lake experience. As a child we looked forward to the boat trips across the late to Saratoga Springs Amusement Park, Fishing at the mouth of the lake where Provo River fed into it, Water skiing, feeding the ducks and picnicking at the State park. Not even I knew about the importance of the lake sustaining our pioneer heritage and the locals that inhabited Utah Valley for centuries before the pioneers arrived. The stories of pulling in over 1,000 pounds of trout with each net, or watching the river run solid with the June Sucker as they rushed up stream to spawn every June seem almost unimaginable today.
