Black hardcover is in good condition, with little wear and some soiling on back cover. No noticed markings, interior clean and tight. ; This book was written after a background of almost 20 years in Utah, the land of the Mormons. After four books on Mormonism, and 2000 speaking engagements in more than two-thirds of the states from coast to coast and border to border, we feel our research has qualified us to make this presentation.
It seems impossible that many of the things in this book could be true. This account is fiction. We do not know that a man named Brigham Smith ever lived. We are simply assuming his genealogy. We arrived at the name by combining part of the names of Mormonism's two leading "prophets," Joseph Smith and Brigham Young.
The historical setting for this book is true. The other events are not inconceivable. We are satisfied that many of the incidents mentioned herein have occurred. We do not suppose that they all befell any one Mormon Missionary. Yet we believe you will find our story both interesting and entertaining. Intertwined in the pages of this work are a multitude of facts, intended to inform, to challenge and to inspire.
