2 A WITNESS AND A WARNING

Benson, Ezra TaftNew, Archive Publishers, 2012, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

Brand new softcover book! %% ; The Book of Mormon is the instrument that God has designed to “sweep the earth as with a flood, to gather out His elect unto the New Jerusalem.” (Moses 7:62.) This sacred volume of scripture has not been, nor is it yet, central in our preaching, our teaching, and our missionary work. We have not adequately used “the most correct of any book on earth.” In section 84 of the Doctrine and Covenants, the Lord declares that the whole Church and all the children of Zion are under condemnation because of the way we have treated the Book of Mormon. (Verses 54-58.) This condemnation has not been lifted, nor will it be until we repent. The Lord states that we must not only say but we must do. We have neither said enough nor have we done enough with this divine instrument – the key to conversion. I bless you with increased understanding of the Book of Mormon. I promise you that from this moment forward, if we will daily sup from its pages and abide by its precepts, God will pour out upon each child of Zion and the Church a blessing hitherto unknown. Of this I bear solemn witness. I promise you that as you more diligently study modern revelation on gospel subjects, your power to teach and preach will be magnified and you will so move the cause of Zion that added numbers will enter into the house of the Lord as well as the mission field. ; 5" x 7.5"; 86 pages,

4 An Enemy Hath Done This

Benson, Ezra TaftVery Good, Archive Publishers, 2010, Salt Lake City, UT

Paperback

Cover has some light edge and corner wear. ; “No people can maintain freedom unless their political institutions are founded upon faith in God and belief in the existence of moral law. God has endowed men with certain unalienable rights and no legislature and no majority, however great, may morally limit or destroy these. The function of government is to protect life, liberty and property and anything more or less than this is usurpation and oppression. “The Constitution of the United States was prepared and adopted by courageous men acting under inspiration from the Almighty. It is a solemn contract between the peoples of the states of this nation which all officers of government are under duty to obey. The eternal moral laws expressed therein must be adhered to or individual liberty will perish. It is the responsibility of government to punish crime and provide for the administration of justice and to protect the right and control of property. But today these basic principles and concepts are being flaunted, disregarded and challenged, even by men in high places. Through the exercise of political expediency the government is condoning the breakdown of law and order. ; 5.5" x 8"; 370 pages,

8 GOD - FAMILY - COUNTRY - Our Three Great Loyalties

Benson, Ezra TaftVery Good, Archive Publishers, 2010, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

Cover has some light edge and corner wear. %% ; This remarkable volume gives the reader an intimate glimpse into the deep and devout spiritual nature of the author, as he discusses the Deity, the family, and the nation. He speaks in the fearless manner so characteristic of him, giving heart and courage to the weak and the doubting. He gives strong reassurance to those who need a bolstering hand in defending true Christianity against avowed atheists, unbelieving intellectuals, and those who have political reasons for crushing true religion. To love Christ means service to Him with full heart and mind and soul. It is all encompassing. It embraces unquestioning faith, complete obedience, our day-to-day living habits, our family, and our civic life. The whole duty of man is to serve God and keep His commandments. Benson teaches that one cannot be a good Christian and be a careless or inactive church member. One cannot be a wholehearted Christian and not be a good family man, for a good family is indispensable to the highest kind of living. He also teaches that no man can be a good Christian and at the same time be a bad citizen, a law breaker, or dishonest in any form. President Benson points out the true pathway to the Lord, which is traversed only through faith in God and sincere application of His principles to daily life, including home and nation. ; 5.25" x 8.25"; 423 pages,

15 So Shall Ye Reap

Benson, Ezra Taft (Addresses compiled by Reed A Benson)New, Archive Publishers, 2012, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

Brand new softcover book! %% ; Within the pages of this volume will be revealed the underlying concepts of home and family, as well as forthright declarations of his faith in God and country and in the pioneer virtues which have made America great. This book is divided into four sections, representing the major duties imposed on all of us. They are the responsibilities of home, church, country, and career. In a world where radical and seditious voices have proposed schemes and ideas, motivated very often by selfish or sinister motive, and which, in many instances, contradict the fundamentals upon which the American nation has been founded, his has been an honest, forthright, and statesmanlike declaration of policies, although not always politically popular. His undeviating course has won from even his political critics, an almost universal acclaim for his personal integrity and common sense so often lacking on the political scene.; 5.5" x 8.5"; 351 pages,

16 THE CONSTITUTION - A HEAVENLY BANNER - Including Additional Constitutional Speeches by the brothern.

Benson, Ezra TaftNew, Archive Publishers, 2012, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

Brand new softcover book! %% ; "The Constitution: A Heavenly Banner, and Other Great Constutional Speeches by Ezra Taft Benson, David O. McKay, J. Reuben Clark, Jr. and Bruce R. McConkie". There are many talks, articles, and teachings from the leadership of the LDS Church which pertain to the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution is indeed a “heavenly banner” and is the divine blueprint for civil law upon the earth. It is important for us to take the time to become acquainted with these words, for they have a bearing on the future of our country, and the role we may play individually in the scenes of the Last Days. If the Elders of Israel are to bear away the Constitution from utter destruction, it behoves each of us to learn as much as we can about this inspired document, and what the Brethren have said about it. ; 5.25" x 8.25"; 265 pages,

18 THIS NATION SHALL ENDURE

Benson, Ezra TaftNew, Archive Publishers, 2011,

Paperback

Brand new softcover book! %% ; The Lord has decreed that this land should be "the place of the new Jerusalem, which should come down out of heaven, and the holy sanctuary of the Lord." (Ether 13:3) Here is our nation's destiny! To serve God's eternal purposes and to prepare this land and people for America's eventual destiny, He "established the Constitution of this land, by the hands of wise men whom [He] raised up unto this very purpose, and redeemed the land by the shedding of blood." (D&C 101:80.)No man, however brilliant and perceptive, shall have a complete perspective of our nation's history without this understanding and conviction. He must be persuaded by God's truth if he is to obtain an true and complete picture of our nation's origin and destiny. Secular scholarship, though useful, provides an incomplete and sometimes inaccurate view of our history. The real story of America is one that shows the hand of God in our nation's beginning. Why is it that this view of our history is almost lost in classrooms in America? Why is it that one must turn to the writers of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries to find this view inferred or stated? The answer may perhaps be found in Abraham Lincoln's proclamation: "We have forgotten God. We have forgotten the gracious hand which preserved us in peace, and multiplied and enriched and strengthened us, and we have vainly imagined, in the deceitfulness of our hearts, that all these blessings were produced by some superior wisdom and virtue of our own. Intoxicated with unbroken success, we have become too self-sufficient to feel the necessity of redeeming and preserving grace, too proud to pray to the God that made us." (Abraham Lincoln, Proclamation for a National Fast Day, March 30),

19 Title of Liberty - a Warning Voice

Benson, Ezra Taft; (Mark Benson, compiler)New, Archive Publishers, 2011, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

Brand new softcover book! %% ; "It is high time we realized the dangerous threat of creeping socialism and its ruthless comrade, atheistic communism. When socialism is understood, we will realize that many programs advocated, and some of those already adopted in the United States, fall clearly within the category of socialism. What is socialism? It is simply governmental ownership and management of the essential means for the production and distribution of goods."For thirty years (date of this statement is 1963) we have aided the cause of the atheistic-socialistic conspiracy by permitting socialists, communists, and fellow-travelers in high places in government; by giving away vital military secrets; by squandering much of our material resources; by recklessly spending ourselves to near bankruptcy; by weakening our free enterprise system through adoption of socialistic policies; by wastefully bungling our foreign affairs; by ever increasing confiscatory taxation and by permitting the insidious infiltration of socialistic communist agents and sympathizers into almost every segment of American life."Our freedoms were not achieved, and they cannot be maintained by simple short-cuts that attempt to bypass basic economic principles. These economic laws are immutable just as much so as the moral laws, the laws of nature, or the Ten Commandments. The paramount issue today is liberty against state slavery. Both communism and socialism would destroy our economic system and replace it with socialism."; 5.5" x 8.5"; 234 pages,
