En él se confirma la ubicación donde los Nefitas pelearon su última batalla, que fué en el Cerro Cumorah, actualmente conocido como el Cerro Vigía, situado en las cercanias del Istmo de Tehuantepec, justo hacia adentro del Golfo de México.
