1 The "Last Days" Timeline Do You Know the EXACT Events of the Last Days in Their SPECIFIC Order According to the Scriptures?

Prout, James TNew, Fund Forwarding, 2016,

Paperback

Brand new softcover book!

; LastDaysTimeline presents the book The "Last Days" Timeline. The official site of the timeline documenting the future events…from this week to when the Lord Jesus Christ appears at the 2nd Coming.

Find out how you can prepare your family for the next event in the sequence.

This is the lifelong work of James T. Prout. The Last Days Timeline presents a thorough examination of the scriptural Standard Works of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints concerning prophecy of future events in timeline order. No personal dreams or visions, just the scriptures for absolute spiritual truth about the future of the nations on planet Earth.

This work digests whole prophecies to match the elements that are overlapping to form a clear timeline of the last days. Including:

Daniel
Ezra
Nephi
Moroni
Jesus in 3rd Nephi
Isaiah
John
Joel
Ezekiel
Joseph Smith
and the modern prophets as well.

This work separates itself by the effort to identify each symbolic element in each full prophecy. Not just portions of a few verses. But, the entire prophecy vision is being broken down and examined. Always with an eye toward how you can prepare for the next event in the timeline.

If you as a Latter-Day Saints are to receive these future prophecies and gain wisdom from them, you must know the symbolic elements and how they interact as the future moves forward. If you only buy one book on the subject of Last Days Prophecy, this is it. Why not help your family by knowing the signs-of-the-times before they happen?

Teachings of Thomas S. Monson, Monson, Thomas S. Compiled by Cannegieter, Lynne F.
2 Teachings of Thomas S. Monson

Monson, Thomas S. Compiled by Cannegieter, Lynne F.Very Good in Very Good Dust Jacket, Deseret Book, 2011, Salt Lake City, UT

Hardcover

Brand new hardcover book! ; A lifetime of teachings from President Thomas S. Monson. Teachings of Thomas S. Monson is the ideal companion volume to the prophet's bestselling biography, To the Rescue. This comprehensive collection:
Gives quick, easy access to key teachings on scores of gospel topics representing nearly half a century of teaching
Provides President Monson's teachings topically in alphabetical order
Includes a scripture index so readers can find what President Monson taught about specific scriptural passages

An invaluable resource for all who are involved in teaching the gospel or learning more from President Thomas S. Monson.

In February 2008, Thomas S. Monson was set apart as the sixteenth President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Recognized as leader and prophet by millions of Church members worldwide, he has traveled the globe in his service as a General Authority, a ministry that spans nearly five decades, beginning with his call into the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in October 1963.

Following are a few brief examples of the content readers will find here:

On adversity:
“Mortality is a period of testing, a time to prove ourselves worthy to return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. In order for us to be tested, we must face challenges and difficulties. . . . We can rely on the faith and testimony of others only so long. Eventually we must have our own strong and deeply placed foundation, or we will be unable to withstand the storms of life, which will come.”

On discipleship:
“Develop a yearning to know the Lord, to understand His commandments, and to follow Him. Then shadows of despair are dispelled by rays of hope, sorrow yields to joy, and the feeling of being lost in the crowd of life vanishes with the certain knowledge that our Heavenly Father is mindful of each of us.”

On Jesus Christ:
“From time to time the question has been posed, ‘If Jesus appeared to you today, what questions would you ask of Him?’ My answer has always been, ‘I would not utter a word. I would listen to Him.’”

On service:
“God bless all who endeavor to be their brother’s keeper, who give to ameliorate suffering, who strive with all that is good within them to make a better world. Have you noticed that such individuals have a brighter smile? Their footsteps are more certain. They have an aura about them of contentment and satisfaction, even dedication, for one cannot participate in helping others without experiencing a rich blessing himself.”

On youth:
“Although there have always been challenges in the world, many of those which you face are unique to this time. But you are some of our Heavenly Father’s strongest children, and He has saved you to come to the earth ‘for such a time as this’ (Esther 4:14). With His help, you will have the courage to face whatever comes.”

Whether you’re preparing a lesson, planning a talk, teaching your family, or just seeking to be uplifted and motivated to live the gospel more fully, you’ll appreciate Teachings of Thomas S. Monson.; 6.25" x 9.25"; 365 pages,

15 No Other Succuss The Parenting Practices of David O. McKay

Ogletree, Mark D.New in New Dust Jacket, Religious Studies Center Brigham Young University and Deseret Book Company, 2017,

Hardcover

Brand new hardcover book!

; "No other success can compensate for failure in the home" is a statement made famous by President David O. McKay, who taught Church members the importance of focusing on the family. At the age of 32, he magnified his responsibilities as a newly called Apostle. He had to learn to juggle world travel, heavy Church assignments, and his small but growing family. Later, as a member of the First Presidency, he spent a lot of time teaching and fostering both his children and grandchildren. He embraced a new type of fatherhood in which men were more nurturing and involved in their children's lives. He seemed to be ahead of his time in his parenting style and practices.

The book takes an unprecedented and in-depth look at President McKay's parenting and family life in his own home and invites readers to learn from his best practices. There are no other books available that take a contemporary parenting theory and apply it backward into history—in this case, taking a closer look at a modern-day prophet who advocated a prominent emphasis on families.

This intimate portrayal of life in the McKay family is uniquely available because of the author's extensive access to the journals of David O. McKay, which conveyed the prophet's deepest feelings, convictions, and experiences about parenthood.

City of Enoch is a contemporary Christian vocal trio consisting of Jeremy Christensen, Brianna Curran, and Kyle Wesley. After traveling to Nashville to write songs and put together initial ideas for a group, Jeremy and Kyle began the concept of the group by writing the song "Bountiful" along with a mutual friend and producer. Shortly after that, they recruited Brianna Curran, someone they discovered on YouTube, after searching for singers in the Utah area who could enhance their group with powerful three-part harmonies and the ability to easily share vocal leads. Based in Salt Lake City, the group quickly gelled, and they began performing and creating more demo songs. Soon they were discovered by Shadow Mountain Records and signed a deal to immediately begin work on their first album. Their debut album features primarily original songs, drawing inspiration from their faith journey. Standouts are the new songs "Bountiful" and "One Prayer Away," as well as an incredible cover of the Hilary Weeks classic "He Hears Me."

21 HIS NAME BE PRAISED - Understanding Christ's Ministry and Mission

Morrison, Alexander B.Very Good in Very Good Dust Jacket, Deseret Book, 2002, Salt Lake City, UT

Hardcover

Cover has slight edge and corner wear.

; The concept of the Savior held by the rest of the Christian world is very different from that of the Latter-day Saints. While the world grows increasingly apathetic to Christ's importance and grandeur, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints boldly declares that Jesus is the foreordained Messiah, the resurrected Lord, and the Redeemer of mankind, who will come again with healing in His wings. In His Name Be Praised, Elder Alexander B. Morrison invites us to "come and see" the many reasons why Jesus is properly revered as our Lord and Master. Drawing on the scriptures and also on the teachings of latter-day prophets and apostles, Elder Morrison explores Christ's mission--from His premortal greatness, through His mortal ministry and atoning sacrifice and resurrection, to His anticipated Second Coming. The author beckons us to appreciate more fully Christ's true identity, His unparalleled greatness, the depth of His teachings, and our total dependence on Him as our Savior. In concise and eloquent language, His Name Be Praised bears reverent witness of the divinity of Jesus Christ, reminding us in a moving and powerful way of the countless reasons we rightfully love and adore Him.
