America's Founding Documents
1 America's Founding Documents

Archive Publishers, 2000, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

New

Brand new softcover book!; This booklet includes some of the most important documents in the founding of the United States. It includes The Declaration of Independence, The Constitution and Washington’s Farewell Address.

The Declaration of Independence: It is considered one of the greatest documents in human history. It eloquently expressed the colonies’ reasons for proclaiming their freedom. The document itself should dispel the idea that the Founders were not religious, or that God and religion had no part in the founding of our country. There was no such thing as “separation of Church and State” in the minds of the Founders, but just the opposite, that without God and religion woven into the fabric of the “Making of America”, there would be no United States.

The Constitution of the United States: The Founding Fathers provided the framework for building a strong central government, without violating the rights of the states, or individual citizens of the nation. It provided for a small Federal government to take care of the national needs, and left the majority of responsibilities of administering the needs of the people to the states.

Washington's Farewell Address: This address was never given as a speech, but was published by Washington so that Congress and American citizens could read and study it often. After eight years as President, eight years as commander of the army during the Revolution, and all his years of public service, Washington had some good insights as to what would make our nation’s government strong, safe, and secure. These thoughts he put to writing as he contemplated retirement, and wanted to give this advise as a blueprint for future Presidents and members of Congress to follow. Of the six things he discussed, none of them are being followed today. ; 5" x 8"; 46 pages,

Stand Fast by Our Constitution, Clark, J. Reuben Jr.
11 Clark, J. Reuben Jr.Stand Fast by Our Constitution

Archive Publishers, 2012, Heber City, Utah

Paperback

Very Good

Cover has some light edge and corner wear. ; Whatever the causes, and they are varied, many a youth and also adult, wanders through an abyss, sometimes compounded by his own decisions, often insulating himself against any light which might be available to him. For those who have eyes to see and ears to hear, and hearts willing to understand, Stand Fast by Our Constitution holds many answers. As early as World War I, J. Reuben Clark, Jr. saw, and began to raise a warning voice against, influences in this country and abroad which he thought were threats to the integrity of the Constitution. As pertinent as were the contents of this book at the time each segment was prepared, they are even more timely today, to alert those who will of the critical political fundamentals built into the inspired Constitution. The events which have unfolded as the decades of this century have passed loudly attest to the wisdom and prophetic insight of J. Reuben Clark, Jr. as he warned of the consequences of apostatizing from those cherished Constitutional principles. This book is an eloquent statement of our historical foundations and a fervent and reasoned appeal, grounded in the inspiration of heaven, that America as a nation return to those principles which made her great, and will once again make her a great moral force in the world and make it possible for her to achieve her divine destiny. ; 6.25" x 9.25"; 214 pages,

Cedar Fort, Inc., 2002, Springville, Utah USA

Paperback

New

Brand New Soft cover, Never been read. - Biography ; "This powerful biography of former U. S. Senator Ted Moss shows how his ideas and influence helped shape this nation. The author reveals the principles and values that guided the senator's life. Readers will gain understanding into this great man, and the key historical decisions he made during the turbulent political times of the 1960s and 1970s. Winds of change have turned us in search of basic values. The time has come for someone to nudge us back in the direction of being what we always were-the most caring nation in the history of the world. Since United States Senator Ted Moss was born in 1911, everything has changed, yet nothing has changed. We still spend most of our time hunting and gathering. Only the pace has changed. Amid the chaos, Ted found a constant north star in the ever-changing night sky that guided him through thirty-six years of public service. This fascinating book reveals the sense of joy that guided him as a scholar, husband, father, judge, county attorney, watermaster, naturalist, explorer, legislator, politician, and patriarch. Somebody has to say, "Hey, we are off course. Remember what this country is all about. " Whether for the individual or for the nation, self is best served by transcending self. -Ted Moss " (Cedar Fort) ; 6" x 9"; 298 pages,

Saint Thomas Press, 1963,

Paperback

Very Good in Very Good dust jacket

Cover has some light edge and corner wear. Some interior markings, in pen, pencil and/or marker. Signed by author inside front cover.; Law and government in Christian states are derived from the Ten Commandments. Mr. Ingram here develops the thesis that recent attempts to change the status quo and to overthrow the existing order mean the abandonment of the Ten Commandments. The author traces the origin of familiar laws of the United States back to each of the Commandments. He then shows how each commandment is directly under attack by liberal or socialist efforts either through organized propoganda or political action or both.; 6.25" x 9.25"; 123 pages,
